i/Con Success Story: Next rollout success for the SAP SuccessFactors Team at PERI

After the successful rollout of the pilot countries at the PERI GmbH Weißenhorn in July 2020 the focus in rollout wave 2 was on integrating the SAP HCM payroll system of the German subsidiaries. The focus in rollout wave 3 was the implementation in various subsidiaries in countries in the Middle East as well as in Spain, Portugal, Chile, Poland and Malaysia. In total, twelve countries were implemented in three months – from master data configuration to employee self-service regarding absence management.

The main challenges during this time were the different absence configurations of the countries and the different time zones, which resulted in increased communication across the globe. Here, the team of i/Con consultants and internal PERI project staff were able to solve all arising difficulties through very good cooperation. The integration of the Spanish, Portuguese, Polish and Turkish languages has also contributed to this; additional PERI employees can use the system in their native language.

Thus, the project team once again succeeded in successfully supporting the customer in the mission of „digital transformation„. Since February of this year, the SAP SuccessFactors team at i/Con has been working on the largest rollout to date. Here, the new system is being rolled out in a total of 19 countries from the regions of Latin America, Southwest Europe, Eastern Europe and the Baltic States. A detailed report on this will follow.
